How It Started

The concept for Local Coupon Connection came about in 2005. The idea was to follow the trend of consumers by offering online coupons and discounts. We wanted to be a mouse-click away in offering coupons that you need on an everyday basis. This would be a fast, easy, and searchable base of coupons specific to your local area.

We also wanted to appeal to the advertisers with low cost advertising alternatives. Our goal was to offer affordable and versatile advertising. Our unique system would allow advertisers to track the effectiveness of their coupons and make immediate online changes. This would put an end to being stuck with coupons that do not work. This advertising would be a fraction of the cost of current advertising.

By allowing consumers and advertisers to save money this concept would breathe life back into the community and bolster the economy. This is true now more than when the idea began.

Understanding that the largest percentage of the population is struggling to make ends meet, we did not want you to pay money to save money—it is a free service for you! We have also made it easy for you to refer businesses that you frequent. We will contact them and encourage them to add their coupons to our site. New deals will be added daily.

We wanted to offer our customers a marketing platform that offers incredible value for each dollar. Oh, and we wanted to help save the world as well. We created this marketing platform ourselves, but we need YOU to help us in this goal. We believe in being green. With that in mind we created an entirely digital platform to eliminate the need for print. Where printed material is necessary, we use print vendors that have qualified for special “Green” status with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We would encourage you to use this FSC “Green” status paper when printing your coupons for use.
